Well water service for homes on private wells.

Most of Broward County runs on municipal supply (city water). However, there are many areas of South Florida that rely on well water. If your property is on a private well, the treatment picture is different, and the approach has to match it.

Most homes in South Florida get their water from a city or county utility. If your property is on a private well, none of the utility's treatment applies to you. What comes out of your tap is what the aquifer delivers, plus whatever treatment equipment sits between the well and your faucets. That responsibility is on the homeowner.

Why well water needs a different conversation

Municipal customers start with a known baseline: the utility's published plant report. Well customers start with whatever the ground under their property delivers. South Florida wells vary depending on the aquifer, the depth of the casing, and the age of the system. Some properties have water that looks and tastes fine. Others have issues that are visible or noticeable the moment you run the tap.

The only reliable way to understand what your well actually has is to start with the symptoms you can observe and any test results you may already have. We work from that, not from a generic treatment menu.

How the assessment works on a well

There's no public plant report for a private well, so we approach it differently than a city-water home. On one honest call, we'll ask about what you're seeing and hearing from your water, and what you know about the well's history. From that, we can tell you what your situation likely needs, and what the equipment and installation will cost, before you agree to anything.

Well water in Broward is a secondary service, not a primary one. Most of the homes we work on are municipal. If yours is on a well, we still handle it, we're just honest that it's a less common situation here, and we'll tell you exactly what applies to your property.

What to expect

One phone call covers the assessment. We'll walk through what your property needs, give you a clear price, and answer any questions before anything is scheduled. If the install is straightforward, we move quickly. If your well has something unusual, we'll tell you that on the call too.
